Muscle relaxant

Hurt my back doing yoga last Monday. Or at least, I think that's how I hurt it. Finally got around to see the doc yesterday. Guess what he prescribed. Pain killer. Duh. Counterpain ointment. Duh. Muscle relaxant. Hmmm...

His rationale. Since it took more than a day for my pain to manifest, it is very unlikely that I had hurt my spinal cord, or had a slipped disc. Hence it would most probably be muscle sprain. I could almost swear he rolled his eyes at the word "YOGA".

"Not another bladdy fool who thinks that going to some classes will make her be able to bend the way bodies are never meant to bend before."

Ooppsss, that's just my grumpy resentful mind talking.

Anyway, went to work today and felt like I was floating around the whole day. Couldn't figure out why even talking took so much effort. I could have sworn I was slurring through part of my conversations. Late afternoon, then it hit me. Bladdy meds.

Wow... My dear doc forgot to mention I run a high risk of falling asleep behind the wheels...

End of Q3 approaching

Yawn... Didn't realize a good half of the year has flown by since I posted something. Oh lazy me...

It's noon on a boring Saturday in Miri, again. Waiting for my washing machine to end its cycle so I can pick up my lazy ass to go to the office. Yes, lifeless people spend time in the office on weekends.

On the up side, I actually have better plans later in the afternoon. Going to cross over the border to watch Wanted in Kuala Belait, followed by dinner at Excapade Sushi Restaurant. Yay! Such is life in quiet old Miri. We have to go 'outstation' for a good meal and a movie.

Weather: Gloomy, rainy, good to hibernate.

Mood: Cheery, I googled my long-lost friend and apparently she is still alive and well, so I will let her get on with her life.

Health: So-so, pulled my neck while doing yoga on Monday. Somehow strained by back on Wed, and now cant turn/bend much. Mum suggests physiotheraphy, I am more inclined to massage.

Aha! I hear the washing machine stopping. Time to move.
