Feeling pissed off and hurt.

*Please don't tell me yes, then turn around and say no. It is hurtful.*

*Apologise when you are wrong. And mean it.*

*Mean what you say.*

*Please don't ignore me. I am not invisible.*

*It will not kill you to ask me how my day was.*

I am looking for friendship, not pity. So go away if pity is all you can spare.

7.30 am - Jogging with housemate, Jia Shin and friend at Bulatan Park

9.00 am - Back home.

9.15 am - Sprayed weedkiller all over garden.

9.45 am - Sweep clean and mopped the house.

10.30 am - Ate brunch, cooked by Jia Shin

11.30 am - Iron all clothes. Including bedsheets.

12.30 noon - Watch DVD. Alone.

3.00 pm - Sleep. Alone.

5.00 pm - Wake up, go Bintang Plaza for shopping and dinner. Alone.

6.30 pm - Watch Spiderman 3. Alone.

9.30 pm - Home alone again.

I’ll make it through the rainy days
I’ll be the one who stands here longer than the rest
When my landscape changes, rearranges
I’ll be stronger than I’ve ever been
No more stillness, more sunlight,
Everything’s gonna be alright

I know that there’s gonna be a change
Better find your way out of your fear
If you wanna come with me
Then that’s the way it’s gotta be
I’m all alone and finally
I’m getting stronger
You’ll come to see
Just what I can be
I’m getting stronger

Sometimes I feel so down and out
Like emotion that’s been captured in a maze
I had my ups and downs
Trials and tribulations,
I overcome it day by day,
Feeling good and almost powerful
A new me, that’s what I’m looking for

I didn’t know what I had to do
I just knew I was alone
People around me
But they didn’t care
So I searched into my soul
I’m not the type of girl that will let them see her cry
It’s not my style
I get by
See I’m gonna do this for me

- Stronger by Sugababes

I am lonely but I must not cry; I will look like hell tomorrow.

Miri Internationl Jazz Festival

I like this big giant balloon.

Went to my first music festival last night at Park City Everly Hotel.

Jazz has never really been my kind of music (except the ocassional Diana Krall and Norah Jones) except when I really feel the need for some sleep inducing method. Hmm.. then again, I can't sleep with music on either anyway. Hehe... So why did I choose to go? Plain kaypoh-ism...

Flew my sister over to join me

Music was good, I have always been a sucker for live music and good vocals. No female vocalists last night though, which was a pity. The main stage was in the Pavilion which was an air conditioned round big hall. There were food stalls and big screens set up al over the pool and beach area so people could sit down on the grass and enjoy the show rather than all cramming into the Pavilion.

Me and my dressed-up Heineken

Sat down in the Pavilion to watch the first band, George WashingMachine Quartet (weird name!). Then out on the beach for the second band called Habana Sax (hmm... suggestive name?). Habana Sax had a rapper dude, first time I heard a jazz rapper. Was back swaying and dancing for an hour in front of the stage for the last band, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

It was a good enjoyable night. Wished more friends could have been there to enjoy the music with us though.

24th April - 5th May 2007

a.k.a the first time I activated the "Out of Office autoreply" for my emails. Hehe.. 3 days of training in KL followed by another 5 days in KL. Woo hoo! There were 80+ emails sitting in my mailbox when I returned by the way...

KL was good. Training was umm... so so... Was never a fan of soft skills training, I can't recall what I was suppose to have learnt. :-P I did get my long-wished for room decors from IKEA. Met up with a few long time friends for good dinners.

Dinner with piffles and ken

Training in Brunei was in Seria, the HQ for BSP. Stayed in Kuala Belait, the border town with Miri. It's only 40 mins away! And I can equate KB with Kudat town. Haha...

With one of the many 'nodding donkeys' that dot Seria's landscape

Mr. Hornbill, you are a long way from home...

Jackup rig - I want to go on one of those one day!

KW was nice enough to drive all the way from Bandar Seri Bengawan to drive me back to Bandar for a look one evening. So sweet of him. Also met HL, who has transferred from Labuan to Seria.

The month that was April...

I am still pretty much internet-less. Streamyx guy has yet to get me hooked up. Then again, I have not been around to 'chase' him. Will do so tomorrow.

In the meantime, I am relying on good ole Jaring. Suprisingly, the service seems to be pretty fast here. *oh wait, touch wood... don't want to praise it too much...*

Random pictures captured using my handphone throughout last month. In no particular order.

KKIA Terminal 2 - left display says 0700, right display says 0655...
Airasia has not made up their mind on the departure time yet.

The ceiling pattern in my rented house... OMG....

My first cup of hot lemon camomile from the office Coffee Bean. :-)

Shell Mega WHPH 20th Apr - Cool stage with cool performances

Just another regular amily dinner back home with the in-Lo's and out-Lo's
- Crocodile claws.

Funny bruise on my arm. Last few days at Grand Palace Hotel.
Virtual friends being too friendly??

Pool at Miri Marriot. Nice...

Milomir Seslija aka Milo, my missing Siamese lookalike kitten
(she has blue eyes!). Come home, Milo!!!
